To celebrate National Bird Week, the City of Sydney is offering a workshop for residents who are interested to learn how their small patch of green can contribute to the web of habitat for small birds in the city. This workshop will also look at how to choose plants for your needs, as well as gardening and design tips. Tips on how to attract birds to your balcony or courtyard will be provided. We’ll also have a few plants each participant can take home with them to get started. There will be 300 plants to give away. They will be locally indigenous plants that are perfect for small bird habitat.
